The Historical Museum was proudly dedicated November 1, 1997 and is the outcome of much work and financial support by those who desired to see this project come to fruition.

This modern facility has two levels, each being fully handicap accessible. The lower level houses large objects and displays. The upper level contains both permanent and rotating exhibits, as well as the museum gift shop.

The Acquisitions Committee welcomes gifts and loans of letters and documents, artifacts, heirlooms, and other items of local historic interest, for preservation and for future exhibits. Gift and loan forms are available at the museum.

The museum's collections are protected and preserved by state-of-the-art mechanical and electronic systems.
